Workflow is a group of output settings with an assigned hot folder. InDesign files in workflow's hot folder will be automatically processed using the workflow's settings.
You can create unlimited number of workflows for each output format (Print, PDF, EPS etc.)
Output Factory Server workflows are stored in this folder:
~/Library/Application Support/Zevrix/Output Factory Server/Workflows
Each workflow is stored in a separate file with the .ofwf extension.
To convert BatchOutput Server workflows, please use the File > Convert BatchOutput Server Workflows menu. BatchOutput Server workflows must be located in the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Zevrix/BatchOutput Server
• Create/duplicate workflows
Click the [+] button below the Workflows table. Output Factory will create a new workflow based on the current selected workflow.
• Renaming workflows
You rename workflows the same way as files in the Finder.
Note: Workflow names can't start with the • sign.
• Saving workflows
Workflows are saved automatically as you edit its settings. No action is required on your part to save workflows.
• Delete workflows
Click the [-] button below the Workflows table. You can hold the Option key to bypass the deletion warning dialog.
• Export workflows
Use the action menu to export the current workflow or all workflows for the current output format.
Note: When you export all format workflows, a separate .ofwf file for each workflow will be created.
• Import workflows
Use the > Import Workflows menu to import Output Factory Server and Output Factory workflows. You can select a single .ofwf files or multiple ones.
