When converting images to a different format, LinkOptimizer will now automatically change 16 and 32-bit images to 8-bit when needed. This is required, for example, when converting 16-bit TIFF or PSD to JPEG. In previous versions, attempts to convert such images interrupted processing with the Save As dialog in Photoshop.

LinkOptimizer now shows a window with detailed error info when granting Full Disk Access to LinkOptimizer is required in order to allow file copying. This error can happen, in particular, if the user disallowed Full Disk Access permission earlier while dismissing one of Apple’s confusing permission request dialogs. The new window allows users to automatically open the Privacy settings of System Preferences and then grant Full Disk Access to LinkOptimizer.
